What are the top 10 Lake Tahoe clues for the Past & Future treasure box hidden in the hunt: There’s Treasure Inside by Jon Collins-Black?
Let’s have a look! First though, it should be said – these are theories – until a box is found nothing is known for sure if the items mentioned are intended to be clues. These are the top 10 ‘possible’ clues to Lake Tahoe.

Top 10 Clues to Lake Tahoe
1) In the word search the backwards number words, THREE NINE and TWELVE ZERO – along with the backwards words of NORTH and WEST can lead to Lake Tahoe via GPS. These backwards words are the only words backwards in the Word Search.

2) The coin overlayed on a map of Lake Tahoe closely matches up with the State Lines of California and Nevada. The circle on the coin coincides with the GPS coordinates – supporting those numbers and discovery.
3) State and Line are words found in the word search. This has been considered to suggest both that Statelline is on the Map (east side of Lake Tahoe) – and/or that those words hint to the COIN angle matching to State Line of both Ca and Nv.
4) The text can hint to the area with, “reflect a state of gold” and “dispatch it quickly somewhere I loved.” Jon lives in California and so it is nearby. California being a state of gold (gold rush) – but if on the Nevada side – the lake reflects CA. (or vice versa)
5) Also, in the text is ‘basking in the heavens’. This could hint to the Heavenly Mountain Resort – in the Southeast of Lake Tahoe area.
6) On the Bitcoin – pictured in the chapter – if turned over – the number 89 is seen. Highway 89 travels along the west coast of Lake Tahoe
7) All around Lake Tahoe are many named ‘Peaks’ shown on a map.
8) In the word search – seen on the left side going down – is ‘COUNT ELEVEN’. The 11th letter in the alphabet – if you counted – is K. There is a K to K trail in Van Sickle State Park in SE Tahoe – near Heavenly.
9) Diagonally in the word search – K to K is seen. The ‘two’ letters seen between the K’s are NV. Nevada’s state abbreviation.
10) In the Solved Cryptogram – ‘arrive you now where beauty sheens’ is often thought to refer to an overlook where Lake Tahoe can be seen to ‘sheen’. (although, yes, this could be any water reference)
