What a great TTOTC community we are part of! Last month a fundraiser was setup to help longtime and beloved searcher JDiggins get back on track after losing her entire home and business in the devastating wildfires of California.
Now Hurricane Michael strikes other searchers in Florida. The search community is there to help.
As some of you know, Diggin Gypsy, (Marti Kreis) and her sister Charissa are avid searchers in the Thrill of the Chase. They have been affected by Hurricane Michael, and the community, speared up by Sacha Johnston, is coming together to offer some help. They have set up a GoFundMe page. Please consider donating to help them back on track!

Charissa Kreis lost her home and her vehicle to the devastating Hurricane Michael, which just swept through Florida.
She has not asked for donations, but her sister, Marti “Diggin Gypsy” has long been a loved member of the Treasure Hunting community. Her zest for life and love of adventure endears us all to her. Charissa is her sister, and this tragedy has devastated their family.
We can’t begin to try to replace what has been lost, but we are known for coming together and helping each other in our greatest time of need. These ladies could really use our help right about now.
Any help you can give will go directly to the Kreis family, and will be appreciated beyond what words could describe.

Although occasionally saddened by humans, I’m more often astounded by the sheer beauty of the human heart and helping hands that always come forward in times of need.

No matter when, who, why, or how this crazy chase ends – I hope every person in the theater is standing and crying and clapping and laughing and hugging and yelling “Encore! Encore!!!!” as the credits roll. Humans are a beautiful creature.
