The answer to MW’s Puzzle Fun #25 is found below. Congrats to all those who correctly solved ‘What’s the Word?’. Each week in this Codes, Ciphers, and Puzzle series, I, with the help of ‘The Puzzle Master’ release fun challenges to help puzzlers get acquainted- and better at solving the cryptic clues often found in treasure hunts, geocaching, and games. They provide a chance to get the mind in gear, jump out of the box, and escape into the world of armchair treasure hunting or any puzzling hobby. These puzzles are not meant to be difficult, but a mere introduction to the many methods information can be hidden. Answers to the puzzles are given the following week with another fun challenge.

The answer to last week’s MW Puzzle Fun #25: What’s the Word was found by simple word play. Firework show ON fourth of July suggested placing the words ‘FIREWORK SHOW’ on top of the words ‘FOURTH OF JULY’. These words are noticed to fit on top of each other within the grid at the bottom of the image. Taking the numbered squares, 1-6, would spell the word: JOYFUL. The answer to the puzzle.
