Six Questions with GameChangerRM:

  • 1Q) What Treasure were you searching for and what made you choose that treasure?

I chose BTME (Beyond the Map’s Edge) because I was alone one night and I saw Gold & Greed advertised. I watched all three episodes and immediately read the poem. I wrote the poem on a piece of paper. The next day I got a map and started plotting the route.

  • 2Q) Can you share some of the clues that led to that search location? (If not, What are you enjoying most about the hunt?)

What I am enjoying most about the hunt is knowing where the area is and reading everyone else’s thoughts on it while I am trying to retrieve. What a great hunt!

  • 3Q) Once you were on site, what surprised you most about the area?

The area is gorgeous! I’m surprised that more people don’t live there or visit the area more frequently.

  • 4Q) What is the most memorable moment or unique thing found while searching?

I found blocks of smoky quartz there.

  • 5Q) You didn’t find the treasure box this trip. Are you still confident in your spot? Why or why not?

I’m very confident in my spot because I knew it was holy before the whole ‘holy brown canyon ‘ clue was released. I have seen the double arcs.

Don’t fall for fake items that mislead you!

  • 6Q) Do you have any advice for someone else looking for treasure or is there something more you would like to say?

Justin isn’t leaving trinkets to find; he cares too much for the environment. Also, be respectful of the fact that this hunt is about four dead beings who matter to Justin. Every time someone says the double arcs are the McDonald’s arches, I want to smack the idiot who says it. The double arcs are a cherished memorial to four dead beings.
