There's Treasure Inside Magnifying Glass Clues Runes

There’s Treasure Inside Magnifying Glass – What do the tiny marks mean?

On page 42 in Chapter 3 is the image of the gold and jade Faberge magnifying glass. This treasure, valued at over $23,000, is in one of the treasure boxes hidden in the hunt. (Maybe it is in the Appalachian Footpath treasure box – since there is an image of a magnifying glass on the Treasure Map in the hunt for that box!)

Chapter 3’s subtitle is ‘Joy is in the details’ and offers advice that noticing details will help find the treasures. Also, written in the text above where the image appears is written:

“…the inlay design work of one of our boxes required Seth to do no less than a quarter of a million chisel marks upon its surface.”

That sentence seems like a hint (or adds support) for finding the small rune like marks on the Magnifying Glass.

Previous photographs of the magnifying glass from the auction house do not show the symbols. And in a recent interview JCB commented that he used his own programs to create and edit the images in the book. He mentioned reading the chapters carefully – and noted the illustrations and poems:

“..there’s a lot of illustrations in the book that I was all responsible for myself and so I would you know just pay attention to every aspect of the book and obviously there’s some poems and think those are obviously pretty important.”

These mysterious symbols are looking more and more like intentional clues! What do they mean!? Are they runes or something else?
