There’s Treasure Inside Appalachian Footpath Box: PA Clues

Possible cues for the Appalachian Footpath treasure box to be hidden in PA are being found. While it might not be hidden here – the following are some possible clues to suggest just maybe! (Join Discussions on the MW Discord)

Possible Clues to PA

Motherwell Quote with Rainbow: We all know the colors the rainbow are – ROY – G – BIV. Since G-GREEN is the center of the rainbow – CENTER could be the meaning of the dashed trail on the map. This has been found to match the Green Mountain Trail near Little Rock Pond in Vermont. It is thought maybe this is a clue for CENTER. The center of the AT is in PA.

CAR – NORTH: In the top left corner of the map are seen the letters CAR and NORTH. CARBON and NORTHAMPTON counties are along the Appalachian Trail in PA.

BEAR ROCKS: The image of the bear near the rocks can be seen to say ‘Bear Rocks’ – which happens to be on the AT near Carbon and Northampton counties in PA

XX and AT: On the left bottom side of the map is seen the XX with AT. As a sound clue – say AT – could suggest – CROSSES 80 (AT). The AT crosses 80 in PA at Delaware Water Gap.

LOOK AROUND: The words ‘Look Around’ are noted by the magnifying glass on the map. The magnifying glass is between the 2nd and 3rd dash of the map’s trail. Delaware Water Gap – where the AT crosses 80 is also near where the AT goes from PA to NJ – the second and third states admitted to the union.

40 Latitude: In the chapter is the following sentence: “…would take you through an incredible 450,000 feet of elevation changes, end to end.” This might hint to taking 4 and 0 (the ends of that number) – which could be a clue to 40 latitude – the latitude for PA.

PENN STATE: The mountain lion is the mascot for Penn State University – but could be a hint to PA (Penn State)

Blue: The text mentions blue often- and even Blue Mountains. Their range reaches into PA

There are clues to other states as well. (upcoming)
