There’s Treasure Inside eBooks Released!
Jon Collins-Black released 5 different There’s Treasure Inside eBooks – one for each treasure box. They are available on Amazon – and are considered the 3rd Edition of books. They are the:
- Lion’s Share Treasure Box eBook
- Forrest Fenn Box eBook
- Pokemon Box eBook
- Past and Future Box eBook
- Appalachian Footpath Box eBook
Although digital versions for There’s Treasure Inside were not at first planned, they were produced. Mainly because the hard copy of the book sold out and availability was sporadic. Jon mentioned that he may discontinue the digital versions eventually– possibly once physical copies of the books become better stocked and are available to all.
I would strongly recommend still purchasing a physical copy. I feel these eBooks are only meant to be a bridge for those who can’t obtain a book right now – to get one. Nonetheless, the release gave Jon the opportunity to correct errors. Their release also gave searchers a hint at what are clues or not for each of the boxes.
Let’s take a look at the eBooks.
What Pages Do Each of the There’s Treasure Inside eBooks Include?
Each of the 4 Smaller Box eBooks include:
- Book Cover and inside cover pages
- The copyright and dedication pages
- Part Two Introduction Pages
- The Smaller Treasure Box Chapter Pages – for that particular eBook (for instance – the Forrest Fenn eBook includes its chapter pages only – as do the others)
- Postscript Pages (safety pages)
- End cover with small logo image
The Lion’s Share Main eBook includes:
- Book Cover and inside cover pages
- The verse which was hidden inside the dust jacket
- Copyright and dedication pages
- Table of Contents
- Introduction pages
- How to read this book pages
- Chapters 1 thru 23
- (Completely SKIPS PART TWO)
- Some More of Our Treasure Items pages
- Joy’s Serenade Poem pages
- Postscript pages
- Acknowledgements
- End cover with small logo image
What Clues Do These Inclusions/exclusions of Pages in the eBooks Suggest?
Jon said: “…..you can read the ebook(s) about the treasures you are most interested in searching for.”
Since the eBooks should hold the clues necessary to find a treasure box, it is assumed then that the clues are only in those pages given in the eBook for each box. It suggests that there are no NEEDED clues scattered in Part 1 of the book, other smaller box chapters, or end pages of the book – for the smaller boxes
And since the Main Ebook did not include the smaller box chapters, it suggests NEEDED clues to find the Lion’s Share box are not found in the smaller box chapters.
It should be noted, any clue found, anywhere, does help find any box, in the way that they provide a glimpse into how Jon thinks and creates. This in turn may help to find other clues.
eBook Corrections or Remained the Same?
Searchers want to know what is found in the There’s Treasure Inside eBooks – in way of corrections or if items thought to be possible clues remained the same to that of the physical copy. Following is what is noted for each eBook.
Forrest Fenn Treasure Box eBook Chapter:
- Page 205: Santa Fe, AZ corrected to Santa Fe, NM
- Page 210: In the poem – Here corrected to HEAR
These are then NOT A CLUE
Pokémon Treasure Box eBook Chapter:
- Page 218: Swampart corrected to SWAMPERT
- Page 218: Froaking corrected to FROAKIE
Past and Future Treasure Box Chapter:
- Page 225: Earnest corrected to Ernest (in all instances)
- Page 225: Year 1971 corrected to 1972
Appalachian Footpath Treasure Box Chapter:
- Page 228: 2000 corrected to 2200
- Page 228: typo transverses to traverses
- Page 229: typo Treasures to Treasure (3rd line)
The Lion’s Share Treasure Box eBook:
Numerous typos, most that were noticed and sent to Jon, were fixed – I think a ‘typo’ is just that from the look of things. I’ll list them here in the coming days.
However, what wasn’t changed was Page 90 – It is still missing. This can be considered a clue.
Other items not changed were the Headers seen at the Chapter beginnings of 9 and 13 – and the page anomalies I mentioned in the Video suggesting they could imply MI – or Michigan?
It seems although typos were fixed, design issues were not changed – or they won’t be – because they are clues. But other than page 90 still missing, I think it remains unclear if some of the design anomalies and page numbers, are clues or not. That is for each of us to still decide.
Concluding thoughts on Clues in the eBooks –
I think releasing the eBooks helped more to say what are NOT clues. Clues thought possible throughout the book for smaller boxes, spelling errors, and page numbers for the smaller box chapters – which were thought could be possible clues, are now suggested not to be clues.
A few clues seemed to be confirmed though:
- Page 90 is still missing in the Lion’s Share Box eBook.
- The Verse inside the dust jacket was included in only the Lion’s Share Box eBook.
- Location of the clues – for the smaller boxes – in their own individual chapters. For the Lion’s Share – mainly anywhere else – but the smaller box chapters.
The above post is in Video Form – which does show some of the images
