Since 2014, the Golden Lorraine Cross of The Bossall Treasure armchair treasure hunt has remained hidden. Who will solve the clues within the book and find this treasure?
The creator of the hunt, Douglas Pearson, is currently working on other projects, and has since closed down the website for the hunt. However, the email to contact Douglas, if someone were to have a solution to claim the prize, is still active. That email is gold @ bossalltreasure.com.
And of course, the Golden Lorraine Cross itself, is still at its hidden location. A searcher doesn’t have to email Douglas to claim the prize. He or she can just go in search for the cross. Douglas was kind enough to offer the email option because it is known the Cross is hidden in the UK. For searchers of the US, this might be quite the trip, and so he provided the fully armchair hunt option of emailing a solution.
MW had recently chatted with Douglas confirming the email remained in use, and the Golden Lorraine Cross remained in place. Here is what he had to say:
The contact is still available: gold@bossalltreasure.com.
Still nobody has solved where the cross is but I have regular contact.
So it seems he does ‘check’ on the Cross to make sure it is intact, and waiting to be found!
