On July 13, 2022, Card #2, The Wheel, of The Incredible Hunt was solved. The $10,000 cash treasure claimed by the team Mindy and James, and Stealth. This left 4 remaining, of the six $10,000 cash treasures, yet to be solved. Card #6 was solved previously.
Soon after The Incredible Hunt was released in June 2022, the first step to solving Card #2 was found by numerous searchers. It was noticed that around The Wheel on the card was Morse Code. This sequence of dots and dashes decoded to a phone number by spelling out the numbers: 843 314 4740.
Searchers, who had purchased the box, and with a registered phone number, received the following message when calling that number:
“Encoded by a man shrouded in mystery. Studied by scholars for more than a century. We trusted something one of you could handle. If so, you will find our game is worth the candle. 89 3 88 91 119.”
The numbers at the end of the message were used on the Beale Papers to reveal another phone number: 84 38 65 283 7. These were found by going to the 89th number, and replacing with 84. The 3rd number on paper 1 gave 38. And so on.
This new number than called and texted gave the message that ‘ You have 10 seconds to answer. Your answer should always be a 4 digit year.’
Searchers struggled finding ‘the year’ at first, but later found it to be ‘3500’, which was texted. 3500 BC being ‘the year’ The Wheel was invented by some accounts.
Once searchers texted the correct 4 digit year, and called, they received another message – 2X7. The initial phone number contained the numbers 2837. The X / 83 was replaced with another number, found again using the Beale Papers.
This new phone number was called. A string of numbers were given which were used on THE WHEEL of the card to discover the location: Nimblewill Gap. The numbers were: 55 18 30 52 20 50 45 18 20 20 10 25 0.
Searchers used the map, with correct poem, to lead them to the treasure.
