The First Annual Masquerade Tribute was released on 3/20/21. Nine talented and generous members of the armchair treasure hunt community came together to offer nine challenging puzzles to solve. As of this writing, only 3 of those 9 treasure hunts have had their treasures claimed. 6 remain yet to be solved!
There is time, right up to the end of the last hunt, to join the adventures of The Masquerade Tribute. Jennifer Rao donated a ‘bonus treasure’ for the winner of the last hunt. It is a necklace made by Elenye Williams, Kit Williams wife, and is valued at around $250 dollars.
All proceeds from The Masquerade Tribute go to charity. Three charities were chosen for this years Tribute.
- -The Humane Society of the United States
- -St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital
- -Organization for Autism Research
I felt important to send in the monies collected to date. At the end of the hunt, I will send in any additional amount.
I should note there is still a Drawing for a Treasure Chest scheduled for 6/19/21 from Top Ten Donors.
Donations are still being accepted, and Searchers can still join the adventures!
We wanted to take this moment though to say THANK YOU…… The Masquerade Tribute has been a great success and three charities have received the following amounts:
Total Donations: $4232.26 (to date) Because there were a few requests by persons to donate the full amount given to The Humane Society, that charity received a bit more.
- Organization for Autism Research received: $1352.49
- St Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital received: 1352.49
- Humane Society received: 1527.28
