The launch of The First Annual Masquerade Tribute continues to draw near! It is going to be the hunt of the year! Nine different Treasure Hunts with Nine different Treasures to claim, valued at over $3,000 total, are part of this incredible Tribute. All proceeds go to three great Charities and causes. We appreciate all who are donating and making this a successful Tribute to Masquerade in so many special ways!
This upcoming collection of Treasure Hunts is made possible by those giving their time, talent, and more to the project; They are of a group of Nine generous Contributors! I had shared a bit about Forgotten History Hunts, in the last featured contributor segment. This segment highlights Natalie Nelson! She is another highly creative and imaginative hunt setter!
Natalie has offered numerous free hunts and puzzles over the past few years. In MW’s Six Questions when asked what inspires her to create these exciting challenges, she answers, “I love the idea of rewarding people for using their brains creatively. Designing these allows me to do the same thing for myself as well. I get to expel creativity and others get to enjoy the illustrations- if not claim the loot.”
Below was the loot from one of her recent pasts hunts: Parish!
Amber and Delyse were two people who put their brains to work and were rewarded for Solving Natalie’s Hunt, Parish, this past summer! They claimed that loot! Parish: A Treasure Hunt was offered free to all and held a hoard of jewels. MW Forum username- Elysethecat- described the hunt so well when she commented, ‘The artwork is so lovely!’ and mentioned how she was enjoying the storyline and attention to detail in every puzzle. It is exciting to have Natalie creating a hunt for The Masquerade Tribute. They are always cleverly done and hold lots of visual aspects which encourages searchers to explore every inch of an illustration! She has such a unique style of creating treasure hunts. Plus, we know she is busy! Over the last few months, Natalie has been working on publishing another hunt, soon to be released- ECHO THE OWL!
In Echo the Owl, Echo turns to solid gold in that sad tale! But if you read it right, you may find the spot where he took his last rest!
