Dustin and Deidra White are an awesome husband and wife team who enjoys exploring treasures together! You may recognize them. They were featured on Expedition Unknown with Josh Gates on an episode in search of The Secret Armchair Treasure Hunt’s buried treasures.
The Secret was published in 1982 by Bryon Preiss and includes 12 images and 12 verses which need correctly matched together in order to discover the locations of 12 buried ceramic casks. Each cask contains a key to be redeemed for a valuable gemstone. To date, only 3 of the 12 casks have been successfully unearthed! On the show, the Whites were discussing with Josh where a cask might be buried in Golden Gate Park in San Francisco, CA.
Dustin and Deidra run multiple Facebook groups discussing clues to possible locations for the buried casks of The Secret, and have also written a Secret Beginner’s Guide. They are very knowledgeable on not only The Secret treasure hunt, but other searches for treasures, as well, like Oak Island. They are dedicated viewers of the History Channel’s Curse of Oak Island and have a podcast dedicated to all things happening there! Be sure to check it out!
As you can surmise, with their many experiences in treasure hunting, they have offered some fun challenging puzzles of their own! It is exciting to have them as one of the 2021 contributors for The Masquerade Tribute.
The launch of The First Annual Masquerade Tribute continues to draw closer and closer, and it is sure to be the hunt of the year! Nine different Treasure Hunts with Nine different Treasures to claim, valued at over $3,000 total, are part of this incredible Tribute. All proceeds go to three great Charities and causes. We appreciate all who are donating and making this a successful Tribute to Masquerade in so many special ways!
