The Chase Legacy is up to all of us. It is what we choose to do to honor the Chase and Forrest. That is what The Chase Legacy site is mostly about. More than ever.

Each month on the 10th I have been releasing hunts for the chance to win a Forrest Fenn Gold Medallion. Only 50 of these beautiful Medallions, approved by Forrest, were ever made. I still have some to give away.

For this month’s hunt, I’d like to reverse it. I always loved when Forrest would ‘reverse’ MW’s Featured Questions. Instead of someone asking him a Question, he asked all of us one.

So for that reason, anyone who hides a treasure for The Chase Legacy (to give a random smile) will be entered into the drawing for the chance to win one of the Forrest Fenn Gold Medallions. This is part of what The Chase Legacy is anyway.

The hidden treasure does NOT have to be extravagant.

If you remember Forrest Fenn’s Scrapbook 213, he mentioned that we should all try and cause a smile by hiding things for others to unexpectedly find. He had hidden leaves inside a book (dated and signed). (Wouldn’t you love to find one of them?!) 

But he told us not to underestimate our importance and what we can do to share smiles.

I think he would be happy to know we are taking that to heart, and honoring the chase and him, by hiding ‘treasures’ for others to find.  Forrest LOVED creativity- original and unique ideas.  (Some examples of treasures hidden previously)

What ‘Treasure’ are you going to hide?  Be creative. Again, it doesn’t have to be expensive, just something to share a smile when found.

To be entered into this Month’s Chase Legacy Drawing for one of the special Forrest Fenn Gold Medallion you must:

  • Hide a ‘Treasure’ by 9/30/2020 noon EST
  • The ‘Treasure’ must have the following contact info somewhere with it:  

                   This Treasure is for you! #TheChaseLegacy.com. Please let us know you found it’

  • Send a photo of your hidden ‘Treasure’ in its location to treasure@thechaselegacy.com  (will be posted on TheChaseLegacy website)
  • Include your name with the photo

A random drawing from all entries will be held and the winner announced soon after!
