The Hope Chest Treasure Hunt is a hunt for 50K. The first person to solve all the clues and complete the quests can claim the treasure!
Quick Overview:

- Clues within the book (available on Hunt’s Website)
- A series of 4 tags are hidden with Treasure as 5th item. Each must be found in order.

Advice from Cris on how to progress in the hunt:
- Q) In the Josh Gates interview with Forrest Fenn, Fenn discusses the importance of a “Starting Point”. Is there a single universal starting point for the first set of poems?
- A) So, I’m not sure what the first set of poems are but the starting point with each poem is different. Look at each poem different… start with the poem then read the book and look at the pictures or illustrations and the start googling stuff or looking at maps or google earth. Me and Forrest were a lot alike so keep that in mind. I’m also an old school kind of guy. I like the simpler times and things in life.
- Q) Is there a tag in four different states and then the capsule is in the 5th state?
- A) The answer is NO… the tags and capsule are random… all the tags could be in one state with the capsule… which that’s not the case or there could be 3 tags in one state the one tag in another state and the capsule in another. not the case either but it’s a random combo example that makes one think…lol…I love thinking. And watching you all think…LOL!!!!
Cris has said: “You must bring everything together when trying to solve the location. The Poem, The book, the words, the illustrations, the meaning and the TAG. They are all tied together.”

- A) No. You have to change your mindset and dig down deep
