Justin Posey Cipher Solution in Beyond the Map’s Edge
Early on in the hunt Justin was asked if there was any type of cipher. He said there was and that it was ‘very approachable’. Many ideas were put forth. Some more complex than others. Following is a possible cipher solution I discovered by considering a Clock Time, 42, Missing Page Number, and a list that Justin had full control over.
Previously I mentioned that the number for page 156 is missing. It is the only page number that isn’t shown when there is a space for it. It is anomaly which waves a red flag. Something might be here. It was suggested that 156 said as a clock time is 4minutes before 2oclock. Or 4 before 2. or 42. A number given in Netflix as a clue to something.
On the bottom line of page 156, Justin lists a few locations he searched for Forrest Fenn’s treasure. He lists: Boiling River, Gardiner, Devil’s Slide, Hebgen Lake….. Taking the first letters – BR G DS HL and shifting by 1 gives CS H ET IM.
