How To Get Started in There’s Treasure Inside Treasure Hunt

JCB (Jon Collins-Black) says all necessary clues to find 5 different treasure boxes are in the book. To get started with the hunt a searcher needs to read his book. (purchase the book) The hunt officially launched November 12, 2024.

Where are the Clues to the Treasure Boxes?

The clues to the 5 different treasure boxes are inside the book – There’s Treasure Inside.

Clues to the largest treasure box are scattered throughout the book. That box is being called the Lion’s Share box, because it will hold the most treasure.

Clues to the remaining 4 smaller treasure boxes are within their given chapters. These are found in part two of the book and have been named:

Jon Collins-Black has commented that a person does not have to be a genius or solve any grand cipher to find a treasure box. He believes all treasure box locations can be discovered by solving the clues in the book and that they will be found.

What Clues Have Been Solved?

Many clues are thought found for each of the boxes. Until a box is found the theories about the clues and where they lead are just that – theories. In the book Jon warns about following others and encourages following your own ideas and thoughts.

What Advice Does Jon Collins-Black Give to Find His Treasure Boxes?

Read through the book once – thoughtfully. Then read again (and again…)
JCB says he has subtly placed many clues within the text. Jot down anything that makes your Spidey sense tingle.
Let your thoughts marinate on the book after you finish it – then when you read it again you may find the clues more easily.
If something interests you in the book – investigate it further. That may have been his intention. He mentions you never know what you may discover.
Don’t overlook any part of the book – clues could be anywhere for the LS Box (Lion’s Share box) (except the safety guidance section)
The 4 chapters in part two contain – primarily – all you need to discover the location of those particular treasure boxes featured in the chapters (the 4 smaller boxes).

Hidden in the US – no more than one box in any state (website)
None on or across Private Property
All in ‘Safe’ places
No Digging – treasure boxes are NOT BURIED – they are hidden
JCB says don’t search when snow is on the ground
JCB suggested doing a grid search of the believed area – check every nook and cranny
Never need to wade through/cross high water
Don’t need to wander so far off a public trail that you’re going to get lost
If walk a direct path to where you park – none of the boxes should take more than a couple of hours to reach – and most of them a lot less
There is no treasure hidden more than three miles from any road

What Treasures are in the 5 Treasure Boxes?

Jon Collins-Black shares the history, stories, and images of the treasures in his book. There are gold bars, coins, jewels, rare collectibles, historical items, ancient artifacts and more.

It is known there are a few treasures that originated from the Forrest Fenn Treasure Hunt. JCB bought items from the Heritage Auction of the chest of gold found in the Rockies. What are The There’s Treasure Inside Commemorative Coins?

Jon has said that inside each of the smaller boxes is a commemorative coin. These were designed by Seth Gould, who also designed and crafted the Treasure Boxes – which are also puzzle boxes.

Where are the Treasure Boxes Hidden?

They are hidden in the US. They are spread out across the US- with no more than one in any state.
The clues to find the boxes are within the book. Once correctly solved they will lead a searcher to the location of the treasure box. None are said to be in dangerous locations.
There are 5 different treasure boxes.
The treasure boxes are NOT buried. They are hidden. No digging is required, and a shovel or metal detector is not needed

Has Anyone Found a Hidden Treasure Box?

No. The hunt officially released 11/12/24. Clues to find the 5 different treasure boxes are in the book ‘There’s Treasure Inside’! JCB said he will announce a found box on his website (and of course MW will relay the message). As of now – no found boxes have been announced.
