A new armchair treasure hunt has been released! It is entitled The Orange Tree by Natalie Nelson. The hunt consists of two pages, including the cover. It is available for download on gumroad for $15 (or other desired amount/donations accepted). The hunt is fully armchair and requires the correct submission of a deciphered word or phrase to claim the prize.
The treasure for The Orange Tree is an intricate, fully functional, locket – as seen in the film ‘The Illusionist’. The workings of the locket are 24K gold and has a butterfly of inlaid Ivory! Whoever solves the clues hidden in The Orange Tree images first wins the beautiful keepsake.
Natalie has created previous armchair treasure hunts. To name just a few, there was Parish, which involved a treasure valued at over $5,000 dollars in gemstones, Soup to Nuts, which involved a treasure of a wonderful Bee with gemstone, and there was Pieces to a Hole, which was part of the first annual Masquerade Tribute of Hunts for Charity.
Another hunt by Natalie, Echo the Owl / The Last Echo remains unsolved. This treasure hunt was released in the spring of 2021. It’s treasure is yet to claim! From the order page of the hunt ($10):
A journal that when understood correctly leads to a SOLID GOLD OWL (and gemstone pendants) located IN THE REAL WORLD (somewhere on Mount Desert Island, Maine) currently valued at $4,000.00 USD. You must be the first to correctly solve the location and get the prize in the real world.
