As some here on MW might already know, H Charles Beil, also known as the Treasure Man, is creating a Treasure Hunt called the Gallows Harbor Treasure Hunt. This hunt will be different than his current treasure hunts of Buried Caches. Instead of a short story or map with clues to locations of hidden caches, Gallows Harbor is a series of books. Beil describes these in a previous Six Questions.
The total treasure of Gallows Harbor treasure hunt is planned to be worth over a million dollars. This bounty of jewels, coins, unique artifacts, and more exciting items is being hidden in separate caches across the states. And while the hunt has not been released yet, it continues to move forward. It is possibly going to be promoted through a Kickstarter campaign later in the summer of 2020. Beil states it will be America’s Greatest Treasure Hunt.
MW has created a separate section, apart from his other hidden caches, for Gallows Harbor, on the MW Forum. There is also a Private Facebook Group searchers can join now. These groups can be used to get a head start on discussing the background history, treasure cache locations, and any other topics of interest on the hunt. MW will keep searchers informed of the news happening in not only these places, but other MW channels as well. You can always get your Quest on with MW!
As of now, we know there is planned to be at least 7 (possibly 8) different caches hidden for the Gallows Harbor Treasure Hunt. Beil talks more about them in the Six Questions on the hunt.
Should we surmise that at least one of these caches might be hidden somewhere near the old ghost town of Gallows Harbor in Clearfield County, PA.? More on this location later (join the FB Group and/or Forum to not miss updates)
Searchers do know H Charles has hidden at least one cache for this hunt already, somewhere in New England, and most likely near the Salem and Gloucester area of Massachusetts.
In November 2019, images were posted on public pages showing H Charles Beil with the Crystal Skull cache for the Gallows Harbor treasure hunt. Beil commented that he recently got back from hiding it. Images show him (and his family) at the Salem Witch Museum and old cemetery in Gloucester.
Here is H at the edge of the 1644 burial ground in Gloucester, near George’s Coffee Shop:
Then in April, Beil posted another image of him hiding another cache for the hunt. This one looked to be in a cave. Where could this one be near?
The hunt is sure to be exciting! Get ready for the adventures with MW!
