MW continues this segment on The Contributors of The First Masquerade Tribute with Bill Gardner of Kodeword Kards! In a previous MW Six Questions with Bill, we learned he had explored numerous different treasure hunts and puzzles over the years, and in doing so, had come up with lots of different ideas on how to create cryptic puzzles himself! This was one of the inspirations for releasing Kodewords Kards in November of 2019.
He was ready to test out a few of his thoughts for a multi-piece puzzle! The challenge offered two $500 cash prizes and it was quite the success! All of the participants of the challenge raved how well designed and incredible Kodewords Kards were! (More on Kodewords Kards, and those puzzles can be found on the MW forum.)
Bill, an electrical engineer from central Virginia, continues to create interesting puzzles, and has recently joined Puzzled Pint: a site offering social puzzle events throughout various cities. It is a pleasure to have Bill applying his skills towards creating a hunt for The Masquerade Tribute! All those participating are sure to be in for a treat as well! The First Masquerade Tribute is a collection of nine different hunts, with nine different treasures to claim, created by nine different highly talented contributors. In previous contributor segments we learned more about Forgotten History Hunts , Natalie Nelson of Echo The Owl, and Robert Brewer of The Lost Skull. In this segment we have now caught a glimpse of the incredible work Bill Gardner creates; and in the coming days, we will discover more on the rest of Tribute’s Contributors.
