The Vault (1) was a huge success and so creators are once again coming together to offer another collection of puzzle hunts for YOU to enjoy! In The Vault 2 are treasures valued at over $1000 – with 36 chances to win. More importantly the books (both Vault 1 and Vault 2) provide an introduction into the puzzle and treasure hunting hobby!
Following is the second of THE VAULT 2’s Six Questions Series! In these next Six Q’s we learn more about Find Nobody’s Treasure Puzzle inside THE VAULT 2! Find Nobody’s Treasure Hunts are always a treat! Their clever clues blend mystery, adventure, and imagination. Let’s get to it!
Six Questions with Find Nobody’s Treasure Hunts:
- Q1) What first sparked your interest in puzzles or treasure hunts?
I think all of us fell in love with the idea of treasure hunting young. Growing up on The Goonies, Indiana Jones, National Treasure.. who wouldn’t want to experience that same thrill? It wasn’t until 2014 when Mike and I (Chantel) met Pat while playing a local boots on ground treasure hunt game that we became a team.
- Q2) What advice would you give someone who is first getting into the hobby of puzzle hunts?
Just keep doing puzzles. The more you do them, the more ciphers and methods you will uncover, and that will help you identify patterns in puzzles down the road.
- Q3) What do you enjoy most in the treasure hunting hobby?
Whether creating or solving, it’s that “ah-ha!” moment when everything comes together. When all the pieces finally click and become a cohesive solution – that’s what makes it all worth it!
- Q4) When you start designing a new puzzle, where do you begin—story, solution, or structure? How do you balance making a puzzle challenging yet fair?
Honestly all of the above. Sometimes we know what we need a puzzle to solve for (usually a location), and then we have to sort of work backwards and decide how to get there. Other times, we just have a really cool idea we’d like to use so we start to build the puzzle before deciding where it’s going to fit into a hunt. Our goal is to always create a puzzle that can be solved without a clue. All of the information is there, you just need a keen eye and patience.
- Q5) Please share a quick peek into your particular puzzle in THE VAULT 2! How would you describe it?
We actually have two puzzles going into The Vault 2! Our puzzle ‘Forest Mischief’ is a very easy difficulty level, designed for the young at heart. It would be an excellent puzzle for families to work through together.
‘The Stitching Game’ is completely different – much harder difficulty, presented in a story format, and honestly unlike anything we’ve done before!
- Q6) What do you hope solvers take away from your puzzle beyond just the answer? Do you have other puzzles or a social channel to follow?
We hope that both of our puzzles will provide players with a sense of whimsy and wonder, and a reminder to appreciate the magic in their daily lives!
Currently Find Nobody’s Treasure hosts quarterly boots on the ground hunts in the Massachusetts area. For the remainder of 2025 and going into the new year, we will be shifting our focus from weekend long excursions, to single day adventures!
