Northeast Treasure Hunts
If you live in the northeast and are wondering if there are any treasure hunts ‘near you’ – the following list gets you started!!
It should be mentioned not all treasure hunts reveal a specific region where their treasures will be discovered. Sometimes it is ‘hidden in the United States’ – which may turn out to be in the Northeast! And some hunts you don’t even have to physically travel to claim the treasures – these are fully armchair.

Veil Hunts

There’s Treasure Inside: Appalachian Footpath Box
Somewhere along the Appalachian Footpath is a hidden treasure box. While it could be anywhere from GA to Maine – possible clues to it being hidden in the Northeast are being noticed and considered.
The Devil’s Tombstone
Clues to find a hidden treasure are in the book ‘The Devil’s Tombstone’ by John Parslow (Available on Amazon). The $1500 treasure is known to be hidden somewhere in the Catskills.
Seven Paces: Fortune Lies within Vermont
Seven Paces created a hunt in conjunction for those searching for the There’s Treasure Inside AT box in Vermont (More info on that hunt). Clues for its exact location are in a book (available on Amazon)
Lady Liberty and Riley’s Treasure Chase
The main troves for both Lady Liberty and Riley’s Treasure Chase remain hidden! While 12 of the treasures in the book have been confirmed found – there are more out there. The total number is said to be part of the journey in the hunt. Clues are within the books available on the hunt’s website.
Xavier MarX and the Missing Masterpieces
The proxy for Xavier Marx and The Missing Masterpieces is known to be hidden somewhere in New York City. Clues are in the book, and if you can find it, you can claim the over $13,000 cash prize.
Find Nobody’s Treasure
Find Nobody’s Treasure hunts are released quarterly. They are multi-stage, crowd-funded, treasure excursions in the MA and/or New England area. Keep update to date and follow them on their Facebook page!
