The treasure hunt book, There’s Treasure Inside (available on Amazon), by Jon Collins-Black is missing page 90. Why? It certainly seems to be a possible clue to the hidden treasure box valued at over a million dollars – The Lion’s Share Treasure Box! (More on what is known and other facts about There’s Treasure Inside)

Missing Page 90 Clue Ideas

In the book the pages go from 89 to 91 – completely skipping over 90. This happens in chapter 9.

There are different ideas for what the missing page – specifically page 90 – might hint to. If anything. (page will be updated as new theories arise). Some ideas are hints to:

  • Interstate or Route 90
  • Right angle – perspectives
  • 90* on a clock is 1/4 past
  • The fact it is missing – Page 90 of magazine – monument (more on this upcoming)
  • Red herring – the chapter is about ‘confirmation bias’ and how we can believe things are clues – when in fact they are not.

Theory on Missing Page 90 Hinting to South Dakota

The missing page can be considered to be center of Part 1 of the book. Part 1, Chapter 1 starts on page 18 and ends with chapter 23 on page 198. There are then 180 pages in Part 1 of the book – the halfway point is 90 – which is center of 180. Therefore, the ‘Missing page 90’ could hold a meaning relating to the middle or center.

As mentioned above – searchers have liked the idea of it to hint to Interstate 90. It is over 3000 miles – from coast to coast.

Does Missing page 90 in There's Treasure Inside hint to Interstate 90

Putting these two things together –  90 being center of Part 1, and possibly referring to Interstate 90 – might it be hinting to the center point on Interstate 90?

This would be in South Dakota – which maybe coincidentally, but very interesting – fits with the Olympic Rings theory on where each treasure box could be hidden.

Olympic rings clue

It’s also interesting to speculate – had Jon taken rt 90 to hide the treasures and  gone back rt 40?  Taking different detours to the various locations – which could be quite a distance – but the main time taking those routes?

In the 2004 tresure hunt of A Treasure’s Trove –  with 12 different tokens hidden across the states worth a million – that is similar to what that hunt’s creator did. He took rt 40 out and came back rt 80 – hiding tokens along the trip.

Something more to think about.
