Justin Posey Treasure Song clues! In the September interview with Justin Posey (by Sandal on TikTok/posted on YouTube), Justin said:
- “There is an extremely definitive hint in one of the songs.”
In the Dillon Q/A this question was also asked:
Q: Are there any clues or hints in the songs in your treasure hunt?
A: Yes.
So what is it? Let’s take a look at the songs of the hunt.
Justin Posey AudioBook Songs
Although there are musical additions in the audiobook – they do not have lyrics – or images. They do have titles though – which are:
- Memories Begin
- Requiem to Treasure
- Martinis at Midnight
For myself I lean to the clue being in the song ‘Beyond the Map’s Edge’ by Arkade – and of which was included in the Netflix Gold & Greed Documentary.
Netfix Gold & Greed Documentary Song
Justin helped write the song titled: Beyond the Map’s Edge by Arkade. The lyrics are as follows but some interesting lines in the song are:
- My compass spins no longer true
- I’m losing myself in the eye of the world
- I wanna find myself some peace of mind – Captivated by the shadows that lie – Beyond the map’s edge
In a recent interview Justin said the title Beyond the Map’s Edge meant to go beyond your comfort zone – which is seen to make sense. This meaning is also stated in the book.
The Song Lyrics:
The known world ends in faded lines
Where certainty no longer shines
My curiosity
Is taking hold of me
And I can’t wait for what we’ll find
So here I go
Map inside my head
No fear to know
How the journey ends
And what lies ahead?
I wish I could guess
What’s beyond the map’s edge
Each step rewrites the world I knew
(Each step rewrites the world I knew)
My compass spins no longer true
(No longer true)
The possibilities (oh yeah)
Unfold in front of me (they do)
With every breath I’m breaking through to you
Ooo I’m losing myself in the eye of the world
If this is all that we’re gonna see
Don’t you wanna break these chains with me?
So here I go
Map inside my head
No fear to know
How the journey ends
And what lies ahead?
I wish I could guess
What’s beyond the map’s edge
Beyond the map’s edge
(Beyond the map’s edge)
(Beyond the map’s edge)
I wanna find myself some peace of mind
Captivated by the shadows that lie
Beyond the map’s edge
So here I go
Map inside my head
No fear to know
How the journey ends
And what lies ahead?
I wish I could guess
What’s beyond the map’s edge
So here I go
Map inside my head
No fear to know
How the journey ends
And what lies ahead?
I wish I could guess
What’s beyond the map’s edge
And what lies ahead?
I wish I could guess
What’s beyond the map’s edge
And what lies ahead?
I wish I could guess
What’s beyond the map’s edge
Arkade Song Cover
The cover to the song may hold the clue.
- The X in the title in suspicious. Do we have to draw an X on a map by plotting points hinted to in the poem?
- The number 27 seems to be hidden in the cover (which is a Niven Number – more here).
- Is it the desert landscape?
- ?
