Top 5 General Facts about Justin Posey’s Treasure Map

  • The treasure is hidden somewhere ON THE MAP – not beyond the map’s edge.
  • Justin has said ‘The Map is useful’ when asked if the treasure could be found without it.
  • On the website, Justin makes note: “I chose the landmarks to be labeled, but the map was designed by a third party. Any incorrect names, positions, and elevations are not intentional.”
  • Before the audiobook – Lukeville, AZ – the small unincorporated town on the border of US and Mexico labeled on the map – wasn’t even mentioned in the book. Had Justin excluded the story because of the possible checkpoint clue?
  • In each of the states on the map the highest mountain peak is labeled – except in California. Mt. Whitney is not labeled.
