List of Justin Posey Audiobook Differences:
On March 27th, 2025, Justin Posey released the hardcover book Beyond the Map’s Edge (available on Amazon). This book holds clues to find his hidden treasure. On May 21, 2025, Justin released an audio version of Beyond the Map’s Edge (available on Justin’s website)
Here is a list of differences to that of the original print/hardcover book:
Bonus Chapter: Los Camerones Calientes with possible clue on the checkpoint of the treasure hunt.
3 Added Musical Pieces: (short pieces by Hyram Posey – Justin’s Uncle)

- Martinis at Midnight
Acknowledgements: Has an added sentence. It comes after the sentence ending with ‘curfew negotiations’ – top of page XIII. The additional sentence is:
“You taught me the difference between reality and fantasy isn’t a wall – it’s a map waiting to be drawn.”
The Concrete Kiss: Utah instead of Idaho. The sentence “We called it “The Big Hill” – though it might barely register as a speed bump in Idaho.” on page 43 in the hardcover says Utah in the Audiobook.
Trailside Troubles: THE is added to the chapter title. This is on page 113 in the hardcover book – and there is a possible clue for 113 given in the digital version with the differences in illustrations.
The Treasure Trail: On page 185 of the hardcover book is a search list. In the audiobook the narrator reads the list and then ADDS: “Only Harlequin Lake at #3 and Iron Springs at #9 remained uncrossed off.” All locations are clearly crossed off in the list in the hardcover book.
There are other differences in wordings of the text – like ‘against the pines’ instead of ‘among the pines’. I’ll update this post on the Justin Posey Audiobook Differences once I’m done going through it all.
