Forrest Fenn Treasure Box

The Forrest Fenn treasure box is one of 5 different treasure boxes to find in the book, There’s Treasure Inside, by Jon Collins-Black. It is one of the smaller boxes. This box, along with the other 4 hidden treasure boxes, hold treasures valued into the millions. They are hidden across the United States. (More on the treasure hunt)

The Forrest Fenn Treasure box is hidden somewhere in the Rocky Mountains. The value of the box and contents is said to be ‘comfortably’ in the six digits. Jon does not reveal all of what is in the box. Much of it will be a surprise.

Clues to Find the Treasure Box

Clues to find this particular box are found in a 24 lined poem. The poem was inspired by not only Forrest Fenn’s poem to find his chest of gold, but also by Jon Collins-Black’s own experiences while searching for Fenn’s treasure chest.

It was known that in order to find Forrest Fenn’s hidden treasure searchers followed a poem, that contained 9 clues. Those clues were believed by many searchers to be: Where warm waters halt, canyon down, home of Brown, no place for meek, end drawing nigh, no paddle up your creek, heavy loads, water high, and Blaze.

Jon Collins-Black’s poem includes phrases similar to those found in Forrest Fenn’s poem. Heavy loads, canyon round, Brown, home, drawing nigh, blaze, marvel gaze, and even warm waters’ halt.

Theories on How to Find the Treasure Box

One of the theories is JCB’s treasure box is most likely hidden in a location that he felt the Fenn chest was secreted – or at least close to it. For this reason, both poems, Forrest Fenn’s and the one in There’s Treasure Inside, might be key to finding the treasure box. More discussions on theories on the MW Discord or Forum.

Treasures of the Box

It is known this particular box will contain the Olive Jar, which was originally in the Forrest Fenn treasure chest that was found in 2020. The jar contains Forrest Fenn’s autobiography and is highly desired by those who searched for Fenn’s treasure. After the Fenn Treasure was found, items from that chest went up for auction. Jon Collins-Black purchased the olive jar for around $46,000. He also purchased 3 other items from that auction.

In the book Jon does not specify all of what he placed in the box. He does say it will hold at least one of the additional items he purchased from the auction. Maybe it will include all of them. More on the Forrest Fenn treasure items in this video.
