Forrest, if a movie was made about the Thrill Of The Chase, which actor would you like to see portray you? Let’s assume Pitt is unavailable. Robert Redford perhaps? ~pacman
You are so funny pacman, with that movie stuff talk. I am the last remaining member of my family so who would watch such a film? My wife would probably suggest that Justin Bieber play my character, but I would think Wallace Berry would be more appropriate. f

Thank-you, Jenny and Forrest. I need to review movie history, when reading some of those names.
I was just looking at something with Jan Murray:

I see aberrations have taken up residence here, if I can’t crack it by the weekend then I will have to work on it some more next week.
jl
Abeerations too. 🙂 I found I’m the remaining member in my family followed by my wife interesting.
What did you find?
psychotic; is what you would see if I mentioned them all.
jl
Likely not. Noticing aberrations can be a key tool in gaining useful insight. In science, it is the aberrations that challenge existing theories, and keep the field advancing. Puzzle-makers also aberrations as part of their building equipmeant.

astree,
One of the things I will start with and I am not much for sharing because a person can be called crazy only so many times before it starts to detract a person from their self-esteem, I see a: “Thrill of a Movie”
Looks a lot like Thrill of the Chase in my mind.
jl
Thanks jl. I had thought “Thrill of a Movie” was just patterned after “Thrill of the Chase” as you mention. I need to think about it some more. I am not sure who makes the title – Jenny or Forrest.
astree,
Maybe a better question would be the title to the movie? It seems only so few questions get answered.
jl
Hello astree and jl. How about an acronym to the title, with a twist. “MT”…Montana. There’s a film called “Montana” starring Errol Flynn. I think we’ve heard that name before. 🙂
There’s a lot of people searching Montana. I wonder if someone is getting close to the “title to the gold.”
I hear you, jl. A name for the movie would be interesting, and so would a name for the poem.
pdenver,
As I have gone alone in there
And with M.T. bold ?
astree
Hello astree. Very possible.
astree,
I am always humbled by the creativity of blog names, I am simply known as jl not much creativity there.
After pondering the weekly words I find it;
kist achter.

Thank you for this week’s Featured Question, pacman, Jenny and Mr. Fenn. This one made me giggle. I would watch the movie, Mr. Fenn. Time to dissect this one. Scalpel. 🙂
I’m lost on this one Forrest.
Surely your wife wouldn’t think of Justin Bieber and isn’t it Wallace Beery?
It makes me think there is something to be gleaned from that…. maybe an angram of each, meaning your wife would say “justinbieber” about the treasure’s location, but you’d say “wallaceberry” would be more appropriate. Wallace Berry the theorist/musician songwriter, died in Vancouver ( not sure if you knew that, or if that fact pertained to something I told you about a few weeks ago).
But for thoroughness, I looked up Wallace Beery (the actor) who did MANY films, two of which were … Wyoming and Treasure Island. Not sure if that was your hidden meaning.
Like JL said…aberrations.
Anyone else tired of reading about Justin B?
Maybe I have to first clear my head and continue later…… 😉
Friend
Justin Bbr!?! Well, that’s just perfect!
Thrill of a Movie. Move e. (Take the “e” in movie, move it down into Berry) Tah dah… Beery! 🙂
Are you Thrilled?
Hello WiseOne. Nice move! 🙂 What happens to the other “r”? 😉
ha ha …..to fast
I guess we could put it here at the end “Montanar”
Okay… Beery, Beerry. They sound the same… It’s a homophone. I guess you just have to listen good.
Hello WiseOne. I knew where you were going with it. 🙂
Tell me what to do with the left over R? then I be impressed tah dah…. .>)
“Just In” “By Bear”
“Burry” “Voila” “See”?
I can’t figure out where to put your lone “R” Wiseone… I guess he is a “LoneR” 🙂
spallies, That would go at the beginning of the movie… It’s Rated R
Hello WiseOne. But, we’re not looking for the “R;” are we? 😉 (giggle)
Now I don’t want anyone saying that won’t work because It’s a silent movie… 😛
Hello WiseOne. Good one! 🙂
Thanks P. 🙂
You’re welcome, WiseOne. 🙂
Hello Everyone. Reading everyone’s comments about “movie”…”move e.” Instead of “move e,” what do you think about “skip e” or “Skippy”? Where does that take us?
Well pdenver, it takes us to Uptown Funk. Smoother than a fresh jar of skippy!
which is too hot. hot dam. which is WWWH. Woot!!!! Where is skippy dam in the rockies?
pdenver,
” skip e” or “Skippy” takes me to lunch. Skippy peanut but and raspberry sammich.
jl
Definitely. 🙂
It only makes sense that Forrest would choose a pirate.
Choosing a pirate is most appropriate.
Robert Redford? He was in the Sneakers movie “Too many secrets.” Way too loose lipped for a Fenn role 😉
Thanks Jenny, Forrest and little Pacman, A person plays many parts in they’re lives the spectrum being vast. This is the first I recall thinking of Mrs. Fenn being honest and silly at the same time. Thinking of Forrest as the Beibs was a stretch, even for me. It’s curious to me how someone thinks how someone else might think. What a suggestion Mr. Fenn about Mrs. Fenn. I think it would be an easier task to figure out who Forrest thinks should star as Mrs. Fenn. And Wiseone you are tickling my brain with twisters, if I didn’t know better I might think you were playing with vowels:)
The difference between Justin Beiber and Wallace Beery (Jenny, can you confirm that a Forrest meant Beery and not Berry?) is that Beery was older than Justin, and beery starred in movies rather than music. Otherwise, in many ways, they seem to be a lot alike. 🙂
Hi Mindy, that is the spelling Forrest sent in his answer…..I don’t ask questions about those things in case they are meant to be ‘something’……… ~jenny
Thanks, Jenny. Maybe we should be finding the Berry. 🙂
Mindy,
Maybe you should look for the blues Berry. “Blueberries are red when they’re green” that is if your heart is into it. Personally, I can’t wait until football season starts, retirement is like that…
Quite a few plants are read when they’re young.
Beery was a multifaceted man. Some facets were brighter than others. He certainly had flaws, as do all living things.
Did you know Beery was in silent films back in the day? They just don’t make them like the used to…films that is. Charlie Chaplin still captures my imagination.
Chaplin was great. Another favorite of mine is Buster Keaton.
NO MAN IS INDISPENSABLE BUT SOME ARE IRREPLACEABLE.
Justin Bieber is not an actor. He may have appeared in some roles but acting is not his career, singing is. Why is everyone assuming that Forrest meant Wallace Beery? Could he have really meant the author Wallace T. Berry, who is credited with 3 books all about music? Structural Functions in Music, Form in Music, & Musical Structure and Performance. It would seem to me, by the fact that he mentions Justin Bieber first, that we may be talking about structure and music here.
Or how about this Wallace Berry? https://www.youtube.com/user/dodgeram281/videos
No, not the You Tube guy! Probably the author we’re talking about. Justin Bieber is from Canada and the Wallace Berry the Author has history in Canada. http://www.thecanadianencyclopedia.ca/en/article/wallace-berry-emc/
He composed my favourite song:
The Moment: Summer’s Night 😉
Hey, What do you mean he is not an actor? He appeared in the Simpsons and few other things as himself. The Simpsons just did an episode on “The Thrill of the Chase?” (spoof of The Boggart’s “Treasure of the Sierra Madre”). 😉
Agree… Wallace Berry..Composer,theorist,educator,pianist. Sounds like Forrest.
hmmm, the Biebs, Berry…..kinda makes you wanna go back and re view his Kutcher post?
ok. I have not chimed in much but I will give you a hint on this.
new and old. now I am done for sometime.
Wallace Berry….One of the great ones:

Some backgound information about the man:

Imagine being married to Gloria Swanson.
PS
Thanks for the berry f!
He agrees.
SL
He tipped his hat…..to that…lol !!

Meaning, JK had no desire to go there!
Although he shares much in common with Beery real life, especially the disdain for school, would Forrest also see himself as one of Berry’s roles – Long John Silver or Pancho Villa?
Of course, for us TTOTC’ers he’d be The Champ!

I believe this is the “Wallace Berry” ‘role’ that Forrest Fenn might actually prefer to identify with the …..most.

Hi Forrest— Would you want this movie to play at Sundance? 😉
-C
Maybe the other living members of your family would watch it, or then again maybe not if it’s a musical.
I read this today on a complete tangent on amother subject, then felt the need connect it on the cusp and post it here. Probably not what he meant, but made me smile all the same.
“A noteworthy episode in Beery’s life is chronicled in the fifth episode of Ken Burns’ documentary The National Parks: America’s Best Idea: In 1943, President Franklin D. Roosevelt signed an executive order creating Jackson Hole National Monument to protect the land adjoining the Grand Tetons in Wyoming. Local ranchers, outraged at the loss of grazing lands, compared FDR’s action to Hitler’s taking of Austria. Led by an aging Beery, they protested by herding 500 cattle across the monument lands without a permit.[20]”

Damage done, the place will clearly never be the same. Thankfully that was the same year Winston Churchill arrived in Casablanca. If it wasn’t for the hula painted frog, 3 years prior, there would be no need for a head to stick out of the sand.
