Although many searchers are aware of the Forrest Fenn treasure hunt, some may not have realized the many other treasures, which are in the form of Armchair Treasure Hunts and the like, to find.

This book introduces you to over twenty armchair treasure hunts of the past and present.  Some have been solved, but others are waiting to be solved.  Thousands of dollars are out there to claim!

Not included in the book, because I just began covering the hunts on MW, are the TreasureMan Hidden Caches.  Thousands wait to be claimed in these caches alone!  I will begin doing write-ups on each of the caches, but you can read more about them now in Six Questions with H. Charles Beil: Hidden Treasures YOU can find!

MW strives to bring you the latest in Treasure Hunts, and I ask for your help.  Please let me know of any treasure hunts you have heard about.  Even events like the upcoming SPARKconQuest (originovel) Medallion Hunt in Raleigh North Carolina or the past cash hunt which the Breakout Games Escape Room company in Baltimore Maryland hosted.

Plus, any news articles on found or lost treasures, small or big, you hear about, please send to treasure@mysteriouswritings.com.

MW is the Ultimate Treasure Hunting website, and we thank you for being part of such the wonderful MW Community of Searchers and helping us out!

  1. The pangram “The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog”, and the search for a shorter pangram, are the cornerstone of the plot of the novel Ella Minnow Pea by Mark Dunn. The search successfully comes to an end when the phrase “Pack my box with five dozen liquor jugs” is discovered.
