Time flies! Way back in August it was announced a very special Tribute Hunt for The Secret Armchair Treasure Hunt by Byron Priess was in the making by John Michaels and Kit Palencar. It would be a treasure hunt for a buried 13th casque holding a key to claim a prize worth over $2,000 dollars. The time has come! It is now released! (See Image and Verse below, along with Instructions, and the Lore for the casque)
John was an active member of the treasure hunting community for The Secret, and Kit is the son of John Jude Palencar, who was the original illustrator for The Secret, which was released in 1982. Together they have worked hard to produce an excellent 13th treasure hunt emulating the original twelve; John working on the Verse, and Kit, an artist himself, painting the Image. Impressive!
Just like The Secret’s first twelve buried casques, an Image and Verse, both embracing cryptic clues, will reveal the location of treasure once solved. It’s possible additional clues might even be found in the Prelude Tribute Hunt, revealing the Lore accompanying the casque, which was given a few weeks before this actual hunt’s release.
As we learned in a previous Six Questions with John Michaels and George Ward, hosts of the Shhhh Podcast at the time, John and Kit produced this hunt as a way to give back to the wonderful community which has inspired them to continue the legacy of The Secret!
Thanks to John and Kit for this exciting new hunt!

Kit Palencar: First of all, I am a big yer dad’s work! And I see that talent must run in your family.
I have questions about Byron:.
Who were Byron’s literary idols? I suspect Mark Twain, but who else?
