Egyptian Necklace

The Ancient Egyptian Necklace in There’s Treasure Inside – is it a clue? (Join discussions on the MW Discord)

In Chapter 23 Jon shares the story about ‘creative nights’ with his wife Kimberly. One these nights included making a Necklace from ancient Egyptian Beads – over 3 thousand years old. This necklace is in one of the treasure boxes.

Jon says the necklace is fashioned after one from the Carnegie Museum in Pittsburg. The following image of a necklace from the Carnegie Museum was shared on the MW Discord. The designs are very much alike.   Each have a Leopard bead with ending tassels.

I would assume the one large orange bead on Jon’s creation is center – and while the necklace is scrunched on the page – it is often speculated if the shape of the necklace – if purposedly placed in a certain way when photographed – could be a clue.

The Head of the Leopard – could possibly relate to the ‘Head’ of a trail – If this is a clue for the Lion’s Share box – could it be hidden on a loop trail like the layout of the necklace?

It might also be an outline of some other landmark or feature.  It also might be nothing.

One of the challenges in treasure hunting is to discover what is and what isn’t a clue – but as your looking at maps and locations – keep in mind the shape of the necklace.  It’s possible Jon used it as a clue in some way – especially since we have the discovery of a trail match on the map for the Appalachian Footpath box –   Jon could have done something similar for another box – in another way.

Something to consider!
