Weekly Words from Forrest Fenn
Weekly Words for June 10th, 2016 are as follows:
*Don’t be influenced by those who say they know, but don’t.f
Best of luck with The Thrill of the Chase and all that you seek! Enjoy Life’s Adventure!
Thank you Jenny. 🙂 Forrest, I’m not influenced by those that say they know. I will have to assume that means where the treasure is located…
Good advice! Thanks Jenny & Forrest.
There’s been a spate of that, lately. Not unusual for the time of year?
Thanks Jenny and Mr.Fenn,
Wise words indeed from one who knows.
Strawshadow, How’s your Gyrl doing? I’m sorry she’s not feeling well. Don’t give up hope. Veterinary medicine can so some miraculous things. I wish her the best outcome. 🙂
Thank You Wiseone, No cancer:) still not good though, the tests are ongoing so will be the medication, six months to a year. You could say it’s the lesser of two evils. Sorry I missed you at Fennboree, maybe next year:)
Hi WiseOne. Good seeing you this weekend. I don’t go along with the crowd either; I have my own solve and opinion of where Forrest’s treasure is hidden. Very sure of what I have so far and won’t be swayed. Thank you Forrest and Jenny!
Good Morning Carolyn 🙂 I enjoyed seeing you and everyone else this past weekend. It certainly was an interesting event!
Nice. Thank you, Forrest and Jenny…. but what if you don’t know that they don’t know. This could go in circles.
Thank you Jenny and Mr. Fenn for this week’s Weekly Words. I greatly appreciate it. 🙂
There are knowns and unknowns. And there are unknown knowns. 😉
Hello, Jackson.
Your comment makes me ponder…(thoughtful pause/looking skyward)…the Final Frontier!
…or FF, for short.
To go…where One Man…has gone before!
* If you’re Lucky. Godspeed to you.

Btw, the Star Trek Logo at the end of the video looks like it was made from an iron meteorite. It’s even showing an incredible Widmanstatten pattern. 🙂
Also, I forgot to say “thank you” to Forrest and Jenny for the Weekly Words.
So…Thank You.
That’s one thing that should never be forgotten.
Thank You Mr. Fenn, and Ms. Kile for posting the weekly words. Since I was old enough to remember, being told I could not do something only made me work harder to do it… as long as it was within the parameters of the law! 🙂
Never ending….all beginning.
Don’t be fooled, period.
Including by yourself.
I’ve had numerous “solves” that fit well up to the Home of Brown, and some of them fit ok enough up to the Blaze. But in my mind, the ideal solve worth checking out fits it all except for the Blaze with some strength to it.
But if you have the means, don’t let not having that sort of solve stop you from getting out there. I think being in the wilderness offers many rewards, from health (both mental and physical) and including giving you “what if” ideas. You don’t even have to go in the search states for that.
And take the poem with you for reminders while you look at God’s beautiful painting.
Enjoy, go do, be safe, and good luck.
Noticed the birds were chirping last night in the dark before the 5.2 earthquake. Wonder if they knew something ahead of time?
Yes, 23kachinas. I experienced our bird yelling in the middle of the night in 1994. I thought the cat was bothering the bird. Got up and found that the cat was nowhere to be found and not guilty. Then, the earthquake it. My guess is that humans seem to be the last to know and we have all types of fancy equipment. 🙂
I believe what Forrest is saying is two fold like most of his statements. Stick to your own solve and don’t be influenced by others. And most important is to know. It is my understanding that Forrest is trying to tell us that you have to know, or recognize or to be able to see the blaze. A searcher must interpret the information that Forrest is giving us and start at THE wwh. The true or exact wwh that Forrest has in mind then follow his directions to the blaze and with the correct information you have learned thru the chase or journey you will be able to recognize the blaze. You gotta be able to SEE it, recognize it. Because the blaze is a common feature in the rockies.
To follow up. I believe what Forrest has been trying to tell us for 5 years. ( Paraphrase) Without the correct wwh you have nothing! but a fun adventure.
Starts and ends with don’t.
DPT good point about “knowing” vs speculating. Perhaps ff is saying you could know the specific spot before. And always think for yourself.
Decall, nice catch on don’t.
Don’t halt cease don’t.
Could very well be the Omegas. I believe they are beginning and end (not A double omega)
@DPT why not the cover of tftw for wwwh?
Decall, I have thought about that and I cant find a firm relationship to cripple, lame or limp other than a handicapped accessible area at Madison Junction for access? I believe walk or gait reference has a lot to do with wwh? I believe like Forrest says there are lots of wwh. To find the correct one a searcher has to figure out the meanings of each word and apply that to find the correct wwh. Am I making sense to you?
The way I see it, you start with the MOST obvious wwh, eliminate it (many many square miles)or even the top 5 wwh list…. I simply took the places ff talked about most and arrived at the most spectacular solve…. way better than anything I’ve ever heard of. We must enter Fenn’s bubble.
Thanks decall, makes sense. I will try to narrow down the wwh’s to help with my quest.
Or… Maybe f’s talking about Don Knotts or donuts! Lol
Decall, Don’t is Do not. Knot. Look up definition of knot. It fits what I think the blaze is. I just have to find THE wwh.
Knot as in the chapter Teacher with ropes. Look at the drawing. The teacher has a bun or knot in her hair and an F next to it!
Hmm, never thought of that as the beginning as well. TS Elliot , hmmm. interesting.
The knot is a big deal – as in forrest’s signature alpha/fish/dele. Both alpha & omega serve elegantly as final blazes IMO. Unfortunately, I won’t be dealt in at Forrest’s poker game this summer to check out my solve. Hoping to have one more chance at the rainbow dream some day.
I’ve noticed not many, if any, are influenced by a fellow searcher. Most have their story and they’re stickin to it! I believe it only matters who you think they are! Or aren’t….
Happy friday, all!
We are just looking for answers to questions that bothered him so! Love!
Hello, Kim.
I feel your comment is quite lyrical…and is perfectly paired with this heartfelt song, IMO…

Pretty much sums it all up… Nice!
NoBODY wILL stumble on that treasure AXcidentally assidentally dental
Bye bye now remember I own the treasure chase. You tell em Mr. Fenn
I think at some point we’ve all sounded like this guy, even if in the quiet of our own minds while reading The Thrill of the Chase.
Thankfully most of the rest of us resisted the urge to get in everyone’s face about it.
Sure are some interesting people in the Chase, though. Reminds me of every family reunion I’ve attended. 🙂
Never any proof!
Always ~ I know or I found it or I have it… but never any proof.

but from not fearing to be wrong.

Thank you Forrest and Jenny for today’s weekly words. Jenny- do you mind telling us who chose this weeks image, was it you or Forrest?

Why does the ole coot gotta tell everyone that ,for real who believes people when they say they solved it
Makes me laugh at them until there out searching and have it in there hands Scrugg it off .
With all due respect ma’am, it sounds as if you are being pretty harsh towards your elders (Mr.Fenn). Maybe you, or we should look at it from a bigger picture. Perhaps someone recently sent him an email stating that his/her family is ready to place said person in the “Funny Farm” (Institution), and they are close. I respect your opinion, as you should mine. I think you may have been a little out of line. Best of luck, and check for ticks… horrible this year! Kenny
DG is close enough friend to ff to throw a few jabs… I’m sure he likes it anyway.
All in good fun, wasn’t aware of that. Thank You, Sir!
Seems no one believes anyone in this. Makes it quite difficult to claim that the searchers are a team of sharing individuals. Many believe that once the chest is spotted, that it is a breeze to take when he stated that it is difficult yet not impossible. I’ll go with what ff states and not the opinions of searchers. IMO you could see it and yet not retrieve it easily.
I wait all week for weekly words and we have to hear him council people what does people do write Forrest and whine that someone has solved it I don’t get it . Forrest said when it’s found he will let everyone know it
I believe he said that when it is found he would announce it and he continued with that announcement would not have teeth unless the chest was retrieved. Therefore, two things have to occur: 1. it has to be found by solving the poem and 2. it has to be retrieved before he will commit to any statement. Lastly, he has to be notified.
those who say they know, but don’t = study the book, not the way shown
A good one!
I feel like Jenny’s question mark man. “I got nothing!”
Is he talking about the treasure? Or politics?
😊
Thank you Jenny and Forrest. Always fun.
Find your own trail. Lead don’t follow. Hear Forrest and listen good. 🙂
These Friday gatherings are always interesting. Thanks again Jenny and Forrest.
But wait, if they say it online on the internet then its true… Right? Lol… Love the picture but I think he needs more question marks if he is thinking about the chase…:)
thanks ms. jenny, was this weeks words part of the original list he had sent you or did he send it recently and if so when?
No worries, they won’t be influenced 🙂
“Don’t be influenced by those who say they know, but don’t.”
Who shall we be influenced by? Only forrest, right?
Or, ??? Someone else knows? Who? A searcher?

CLUE END / FIN
Just realized how comments can bw interpreted, especially “you no”. Lol! Sub-conscious. Thank you Jenny and Mr. Fenn.
Appropriate advise. Especially after Fennboree. What did you eavesdrop on,Forrest? Do tell. 🙂
I’ve never met the Man, I have only read about him.
Yeah. I saw the blog post from Pam Shetron. Dated April 11th 2016. My heart sank a little but then I saw no other mention or proof she had found it. I know her first solve was debunked but this newer one was a bit convincing and even said Forrest was with her and that she handed it to him. I’m glad to hear she has not really found it. I don’t understand people like that who make things up just to mess with people. How much of an attention seeker does this woman have to be in order to make up something like that.
The use of contractions at the beginning and ending of the quote are used properly, therefore the sentence is correct and may be saying a searcher has the beginning and ending correct.
None of us will know until it haz been found, and his bracelet returned to him.
sounds like he’s saying… Don’t listen to people who use the same thing at the beginning and end. But who knows.
I wonder if all the folks who think they know where it is at, or think they know some of the answers, who apply SBs and WWs to their own solutions and come to the conclusion that they are on the right track… I wonder if they apply those but skip this one as not related to their own ideas. This one could very well mean that no one knows much about where the treasure chest is at all. If you apply any, why not this one?
Jeremy, not sure where this one applies. It could mean most anything – about the solving of the clues? or about how to retrieve the chest? Given my situation, I go with not listening to people who think they know on how to retrieve the chest. For me the SBs and other statements have meaning only after I ‘passed’ that point. Perhaps this is another 20-20 hindsight for me 🙂 My main write up about my ‘solve’ will strictly focus on the poem only without any reference to SBs, interviews, etc. I am awaiting word about a publication possibility while I keep working at the ‘difficult but not impossible’ retrieval.
Crow,
Are you writing a book? You must have a good solve if you are at a difficult retrieval, but that is contradictory in many ways.
Jeremy, I make a concerted effort to apply every iota of info Mr. Fenn puts out in print and on the web. The problem is I seldomly know where or how to apply it.
There’s a lot of if’s and and’s going on here. Did F really need to tell us that? I think we all make up our own minds. Is F running out of things to give as a hint or clue? How about it >Forrest When Forrest goes to the beyond or Heaven’s above do you think that he wrote the poem so that people 1000 years from now will need the books to follow indulgence? I personally feel that Forest wrote this poem so a individual 1000 years from now could figure this out and walk to the T.C.with only the poem. His books, like most books, won’t make it 1000 years. So it only leaves the poem. So stop killing yourself over these books and start working on the poem like you just found it 1000 years from now. It will for sure give you piece of mind and definitely shorten the area that the poem is covering. But only “TRUST YOURSELF”…..imho thanks Forrest & Jenny…
wise capitalization
“Don’t” = Donald Trump (haha?)
I am not brave enough…Where I was led by the poem landed me into a very scary place. InterIntersting but scary.
Ya lost me Mr. Fenn! I have no idea what you’re even talking about! translator please!
