Don’t I know……but not all is lost, a person can do a lot of contemplating while dreamingly staring into the white haze with wonder gaze.

My favorite site for latest Snow Reports: http://www.onthesnow.com/rocky-mountain/skireport.html
Just pick the ski resort closest to your location so you can know before you go.
Well, sometimes you just have to state the obvious over & over again for the thick headed ones.
I think searching in nice warm weather is part of a great plan. When or if you don’t find the treasure, you will enjoy the trip much more.
If snowy days are our enemy, then maybe White (K)nights are our friend? Where is Andrew Briggs when you need him?
Now this is interesting yuo guys! I have ben commenting for only a few days and hombre seems to b talking to me here. My name is Sunny day and just the other day I commented on a ski story on his grandson on the other blog. What do you say? Sunny day and snowy days hmm….I was thinking we would send him pics of our latest excursion but then I’ve been thinking that this could lead to what Mindy refers to as confirmation bias. Maybe will return to my favorite haunt sometime in the future.

There might be something special about this place too

Sunny – the name coincidence is certainly there, but this was probably written by Forrest a long time ago. He sent a number of these Weekly Words to Jenny months ago. In cases where he submitted it to Jenny recently, she has pointed that out. Right, Jenny?
For sure Spoon, sunny rhymes with funny, I wouldn’t have a clue when Jens weeklys went out 🙂
Sunny Days are a searcher’s friend! Hi Friend…:)
Sunny day, welcome to the chase, I missed the comment of Shilo snow sking, where was that posted please and Thank You.
Hi yes Sally if you’ll scroll to the very bottom of the scrapbook you’ll see my comment on April 19th.

Jenny,
Does or did Forrest direct you to which Weekly Words to release the day of or prior to, or do you just pick from random those that Forrest has sent to you prior to?
Thank you in advance.

Wonder if you could also find the words “are a searchers worst enemy” in this Weekly?
No c tho
Old “Frosty” at the bakery sure seemed to be an enemy of a younger Fenn.
Perhaps someone went but may not have been able to get close enough to the treasure bc of the weather conditions i.e. snow 🙂
It is a Sunny day here in my neck of the woods !!!
Hello to All…
Cold? Footprints? Covered trail? Covered Indulgence?
I don’t know but I’ll take it as a sound advise.
Thanks again Jenny and Forrest. TGIF.
Thanks Jenny and Mr. Fenn, this one may be taken at face value.
Damn you’re good.
So snow on the ground requires additional caution. It’s mostly melted now. Heading out to it in the morning, time to put the theory to the test. “If you know precisely where it is you can probably retrieve it anytime”, kinda contradicts that comment
I know exact where that treasure is but I’m not going to tell, nobody gonna believe me. Yawn* I’m trying to get my feelings back, they walked out on me, I can’t find them anywhere. I begged them to return but Still no feelings, I might care next year but it’ll probably be too late. I wish the box was worth more thank 6-800k!
Thank you for this week’s Weekly Words, Jenny and Mr. Fenn.
Jenny, would you be so kind to tell us if this week’s Weekly Words was submitted recently by Mr. Fenn or if it is from the list you received a few months ago, please. Any information you may have would be greatly appreciated.
Would be nice to know when this one was submitted… even though the intent of this one might be to snow us!
Hi. Sorry was driving/traveling. Yes, these weekly words were part of initial list. -jenny
Hello Jenny. Thank you for your response. I greatly appreciate it. Have fun with your travels and may your adventures be memorable.
Searchers overestimate there ability to find anything in the snow add in the fact that it’s hidden it would be near impossible to find the chest in the snow, unless one knows precisely where it is, but if one does why would you go when there’s snow there?
What would you know about finding anything and you left out IMO
Can’t explain how how much time I’ve spent looking for a snow shovel in my front yard when it’s covered by feet of snow. Knowledge is experience.

Keep your friends close but your enemies closer. The enemy of my enemy is my friend. Grab that banana, the train only goes by but once.

“Keep your friends close but your enemies closer. The enemy of my enemy is my friend. Grab that banana, the train only goes by but once”.
You got that right, bananas are good but ……I also like the words in a Tim Mcgraw song….Don’t expect a handout from no one…….
One another linear thought, I wonder if f played a lot of poker with them General’s. If he did I bet they were a little light at the end of the month.
jl
Time flys like the wind, and fruit flies like bananas.
Sometimes it snows in April
Sometimes I feel so bad
Sometimes, sometimes I wish that life was never ending,
And all good things, they say, never last
– Prince, The Revolution
Be fun if this had a hidden meaning. Like if the tc is now white.
I go to thinking… what will tomorrow bring.
Mr. Fenn, Ditto, this set of weeklies has left a lasting impression. Thanks again.
Hello Strawshadow. I know what you mean. I agree. 🙂
Mr. Fenn has worked hard creating this great chase, all the time, and preparation beforehand, the endless hours on the poem. Not to mention the interviews, weekly word.. etc….Trying to help everyone. I hope that he is paying attention to his flight instruments and not pushing his limits past where a 85 year young man can go.
jl
I agree JL, instrumentation may become a vital necessity at times. My heart jumped recently after I realized that my numbers were rising with no direction to go. Maybe with Mr. Fenn however, we might just be the ones keeping him on his toes.
I certainly hope so: tell Sarah HI for me, I hope that she is keeping a close eye on you.
Will do JL, You know her….
Another 8″ at 9000′ and higher in Rocky Mountain Colorado is Today’s snow report!
The interesting word here is “enemy”.
