  1. Hi WiseOne. Good seeing you this weekend. I don’t go along with the crowd either; I have my own solve and opinion of where Forrest’s treasure is hidden. Very sure of what I have so far and won’t be swayed. Thank you Forrest and Jenny!

      1. Btw, the Star Trek Logo at the end of the video looks like it was made from an iron meteorite. It’s even showing an incredible Widmanstatten pattern. 🙂

Also, I forgot to say “thank you” to Forrest and Jenny for the Weekly Words.

        So…Thank You.

That’s one thing that should never be forgotten.

  2. Don’t be fooled, period.
    Including by yourself.
I’ve had numerous “solves” that fit well up to the Home of Brown, and some of them fit ok enough up to the Blaze. But in my mind, the ideal solve worth checking out fits it all except for the Blaze with some strength to it.
But if you have the means, don’t let not having that sort of solve stop you from getting out there. I think being in the wilderness offers many rewards, from health (both mental and physical) and including giving you “what if” ideas. You don’t even have to go in the search states for that.

And take the poem with you for reminders while you look at God’s beautiful painting.
Enjoy, go do, be safe, and good luck.

    1. Yes, 23kachinas. I experienced our bird yelling in the middle of the night in 1994. I thought the cat was bothering the bird. Got up and found that the cat was nowhere to be found and not guilty. Then, the earthquake it. My guess is that humans seem to be the last to know and we have all types of fancy equipment. 🙂

  3. I believe what Forrest is saying is two fold like most of his statements. Stick to your own solve and don’t be influenced by others. And most important is to know. It is my understanding that Forrest is trying to tell us that you have to know, or recognize or to be able to see the blaze. A searcher must interpret the information that Forrest is giving us and start at THE wwh. The true or exact wwh that Forrest has in mind then follow his directions to the blaze and with the correct information you have learned thru the chase or journey you will be able to recognize the blaze. You gotta be able to SEE it, recognize it. Because the blaze is a common feature in the rockies.

        1. Decall, I have thought about that and I cant find a firm relationship to cripple, lame or limp other than a handicapped accessible area at Madison Junction for access? I believe walk or gait reference has a lot to do with wwh? I believe like Forrest says there are lots of wwh. To find the correct one a searcher has to figure out the meanings of each word and apply that to find the correct wwh. Am I making sense to you?

          1. The way I see it, you start with the MOST obvious wwh, eliminate it (many many square miles)or even the top 5 wwh list…. I simply took the places ff talked about most and arrived at the most spectacular solve…. way better than anything I’ve ever heard of. We must enter Fenn’s bubble.

    1. Decall, Don’t is Do not. Knot. Look up definition of knot. It fits what I think the blaze is. I just have to find THE wwh.
Knot as in the chapter Teacher with ropes. Look at the drawing. The teacher has a bun or knot in her hair and an F next to it!
Hmm, never thought of that as the beginning as well. TS Elliot , hmmm. interesting.

      1. The knot is a big deal – as in forrest’s signature alpha/fish/dele. Both alpha & omega serve elegantly as final blazes IMO. Unfortunately, I won’t be dealt in at Forrest’s poker game this summer to check out my solve. Hoping to have one more chance at the rainbow dream some day.

    1. With all due respect ma’am, it sounds as if you are being pretty harsh towards your elders (Mr.Fenn). Maybe you, or we should look at it from a bigger picture. Perhaps someone recently sent him an email stating that his/her family is ready to place said person in the “Funny Farm” (Institution), and they are close. I respect your opinion, as you should mine. I think you may have been a little out of line. Best of luck, and check for ticks… horrible this year! Kenny

    2. Seems no one believes anyone in this. Makes it quite difficult to claim that the searchers are a team of sharing individuals. Many believe that once the chest is spotted, that it is a breeze to take when he stated that it is difficult yet not impossible. I’ll go with what ff states and not the opinions of searchers. IMO you could see it and yet not retrieve it easily.

    1. I believe he said that when it is found he would announce it and he continued with that announcement would not have teeth unless the chest was retrieved. Therefore, two things have to occur: 1. it has to be found by solving the poem and 2. it has to be retrieved before he will commit to any statement. Lastly, he has to be notified.

  4. Yeah. I saw the blog post from Pam Shetron. Dated April 11th 2016. My heart sank a little but then I saw no other mention or proof she had found it. I know her first solve was debunked but this newer one was a bit convincing and even said Forrest was with her and that she handed it to him. I’m glad to hear she has not really found it. I don’t understand people like that who make things up just to mess with people. How much of an attention seeker does this woman have to be in order to make up something like that.

  5. I wonder if all the folks who think they know where it is at, or think they know some of the answers, who apply SBs and WWs to their own solutions and come to the conclusion that they are on the right track… I wonder if they apply those but skip this one as not related to their own ideas. This one could very well mean that no one knows much about where the treasure chest is at all. If you apply any, why not this one?

    1. Jeremy, not sure where this one applies. It could mean most anything – about the solving of the clues? or about how to retrieve the chest? Given my situation, I go with not listening to people who think they know on how to retrieve the chest. For me the SBs and other statements have meaning only after I ‘passed’ that point. Perhaps this is another 20-20 hindsight for me 🙂 My main write up about my ‘solve’ will strictly focus on the poem only without any reference to SBs, interviews, etc. I am awaiting word about a publication possibility while I keep working at the ‘difficult but not impossible’ retrieval.

  6. There’s a lot of if’s and and’s going on here. Did F really need to tell us that? I think we all make up our own minds. Is F running out of things to give as a hint or clue? How about it >Forrest When Forrest goes to the beyond or Heaven’s above do you think that he wrote the poem so that people 1000 years from now will need the books to follow indulgence? I personally feel that Forest wrote this poem so a individual 1000 years from now could figure this out and walk to the T.C.with only the poem. His books, like most books, won’t make it 1000 years. So it only leaves the poem. So stop killing yourself over these books and start working on the poem like you just found it 1000 years from now. It will for sure give you piece of mind and definitely shorten the area that the poem is covering. But only “TRUST YOURSELF”…..imho thanks Forrest & Jenny…
