What an awesome time we had with Don Adams (TxTH), while treasure hunting for The Outlaw Cache buried by H. Charles Beil yesterday. Don had found one of the other caches hidden by The Treasure Man (H.Charles Beil) around this time last year. That one was in New Mexico! (Read more about that buried treasure and adventure here: The Lost Treasure Mines Found!)

With one of Treasure Man’s caches already under his belt, Don (TxTH) couldn’t help but stop off on his way to Maine to scout out areas for not only Beil’s Outlaw Cache, but also The Lost Cross Cache in Pennsylvania.  And since he is from Texas, my husband, Mahlon, and I weren’t going to miss the chance to meet up with him in PA to do some searching for The Outlaw Cache.  As you can note, this wonderful gentleman, with his wife, does some traveling! What a wonderful, adventurous life (and couple)!

It’s a several mile hike to reach the remote and forgotten area of the Pennsylvania mountains where the Outlaw Cache is buried. We met at a quiet place to park for where we could begin our journey.

Mahlon, Me (Jenny), and Don!

Once on location numerous foundations start to appear.  Some stand tall, while others are barely seen beneath fallen trees, moss, and ferns.  Roads from the past begin to take shape as well, and following these lead you deeper and higher up into the mountains.

We kept mostly to the low ground on this trip.  We enjoyed exploring the various stone structures, always on the watch for rattlesnakes, which were sure to be there hiding somewhere.  When time allows, we’ll be going back to scout out more ruins and clues to this buried Outlaw Cache.

The Outlaw Cache, of a few hundred coins, and the Lost Cross Cache, valued at over $20,000 dollars, are in the same general area: Central PA, around Keating and Sinnemahoning Creek, in Clinton and Cameron Counties.

Charles Beil announced he is in plan of hiding a cache valued at around a Million?! (scattered around in different locations)

Here is what H Charles shared about this upcoming hunt on his social media:

“What would you all say to a $1,000,000 Treasure Hunt? This table is 4′ in diameter and represents only about 20% of the treasure that would be in the hunt. The plastic baggie that you see here is all diamonds! 🙂 The clues to locate it will be contained in a series of books that are historical fiction about witchcraft and murders (true) that took place in a very ominous ghost town. It will be a multi-cache treasure hunt giving everyone a greater opportunity of finding at least a portion of it.  I was in Massachusetts last week meeting with folks and selecting the spot to bury the first part of the treasure. Next up is New York! If this interests you, you can email me at TreasureIllustrated@Verizon.net and I’ll put your name on the list. This will be a very limited book publishing. The first book is completed except for the clues and the others are close behind. It will be a little bit yet to finish them but the treasure will go into the ground well before the books are done.”

Best of luck with all that you seek, and remember to Always Treasure the Adventure!
