smileDear Mr. Fenn,

Would a sense of humor be of value to anyone trying to solve your poem? ~ Amy H.

.
Well Amy H, probably not, but a sense of humor might help a few searchers who say the chase isn’t fun anymore. Fortunately, thousands who were out looking this summer had great experiences with their family or friends. Those people always seem to have a sense of humor. f

  1. 😉 🙂 Are you kidding? We had the time of our life! Two old housewifes on a treasure hunt, laughing, hiking the most beautiful country on earth, eating what and when we felt like it. No laundry, no family responsibilites for 5 days. It beat out a spa vacation, and we’re already planning our next search next summer. The only way it could have been better would have been meeting Forrest on the trail!

  2. Dang!
I thought that I have a huge advantage over the other searchers given my extraordinary sense of humor (I’m laughing at anything my wife has to say), but Forrest says that probably it’s not the case, and now with the advantage gone, isn’t fun anymore 🙂

  3. Being able to laugh at ourselves doesn’t hurt either. I know I have done that in this chase, but it is the smiles that I enjoy hopefully each and every day that mean the most to me. The chase is definitely still fun for me.

    As always, thank you Forrest.
